1. Acceptance of Terms
Complete a Task helps you connect with fast and reliable service providers in Nigeria through Completeatask.com (“the Website”). By accessing or using this Website, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Website.
2. User Registration for Service Providers in Nigeria
2.1 To access certain features, you may be required to register for an account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information.
2.2 You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account. Notify us immediately of any unauthorised use.
2.3 For verification purposes, we may request additional information to verify you or your business.
2.4 You must update registration details promptly to ensure they are accurate at all times.
2.5 Accounts are non-transferable. Usage by a third party on your behalf is at your own risk.
2.6 You may cancel your account at any time or request reactivation by contacting us via email. Our support team is always available to assist service providers in Nigeria with account reactivation.
3. Responsibilities of Service Providers in Nigeria
3.1 Complete a Task is a marketplace platform. We are not a party to any sales contract, nor are we the originator or “Tasker” of services offered.
3.2 We hold no liability for the availability, quality, safety, or legality of services advertised by service providers in Nigeria on our platform.
3.3 All service providers in Nigeria using this platform must maintain high professional standards.
3.4 You agree that we hold and disburse funds in accordance with your payment instructions.
3.5 Payment is considered complete when the Task Originator pays us in full for tasks undertaken on the platform.
3.6 We do not act as a trustee for either Taskers or Task Originators.
3.7 We may outsource specific services like identity check of service providers in Nigeria to third parties with your consent.
3.8 You may not act as an intermediary or resell services for third parties. We may investigate accounts for violations of these terms.
3.9 You are responsible for determining, collecting, and reporting all applicable taxes for services provided on Completeatask.com to the tax authority.
4.Payment and Settlement for Service Providers in Nigeria
These payment terms apply to all service providers in Nigeria using our platform.
4.1 Disbursement: We will transfer funds to the bank account provided during registration after a task is marked as complete. The amount transferred will be the gross amount minus the Complete a Task commission fees.
4.2 Processing: Transactions are typically processed within one business day. We may decline transactions suspected of being fraudulent or illegal.
4.3 Refunds: You agree to process refunds and adjustments in accordance with applicable laws. All refunds must be processed through the Website.
4.4 Card Refunds: Do not accept or offer cash as a refund for transactions made via card. If your refund policy is unsatisfactory to the client, you may be subject to a chargeback.
4.5 Account Restrictions: We may restrict access to funds during investigations into disputed services, identity verification issues, or breaches of these terms. Errors in transactions must be reported immediately for investigation.
We reserve the right to audit transactions to protect the integrity of all service providers in Nigeria on our site.
5.0 Chargeback Policies for Service Providers in Nigeria
5.1 Chargeback: A Chargeback can occur when a transaction amount is reversed to your account due to the following factors; dispute, unauthorised transaction, suspicious or unlawful or in violation of our terms and by any other reason.
Complete a task will only bear the risk of card fraud that occurs from payment transactions made to you by task originator on our platform while you bear any other risk or loss in connection with your services on or via the platform.
5.2 Chargeback Collection: When a transaction results in chargeback, we will retain the chargeback amount in the reserve and subtract the amount of the chargeback and any relevant fees associated with the process from your bank account or other payment methods you registered with us.
In a case where we are unable to collect funds due to a chargeback for which you are accountable under this term and agreement, full payment of the chargeback will be paid by you when demanded.
All expenses, including, without limitation, legal fees incurred during the cause of collecting the entire account shortfall unpaid by you or your business.
If for any reason a payment could not be collected, you will completely assign Complete a task all rights, title and interest you have in and related with the debt, by agreeing to provide information and documentation we may require in order to determine and assign such right, title or interest.
5.3 Chargeback in Excess on Accounts: When we established you have incurred multiple chargebacks on your account, we may put in place measures to control your account by:
Suspending or terminating of our service to you.
Initiate a processing fee.
Set up a reserve in an account to cover all fees including chargeback incurred by service providers in Nigeria.
6. Advertisements for Service Providers in Nigeria
6.1 Completeatask.com allows users to post a task and service providers to list their ads for services. Users are solely responsible for the content of their ads.
6.2 Completeatask.com reserves the right to remove any ad that violates these terms or is deemed inappropriate.
7. Prohibited Content
You agree not to post or promote content that is illegal, defamatory, misleading, or violates the rights of others.
8. Privacy Policy
Your use of the Website is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which can be found here.
9. Limitation of Liability
Completeatask.com is not responsible for the accuracy or safety of services provided by service providers in Nigeria. Users engage with ads at their own risk.
10. Termination of Service
We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your account and access to the Website at our sole discretion, without prior notice.
11. Changes to Terms
Completeatask.com may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time. It is your responsibility to review these terms periodically for changes.
12 Complaint Process for Service Providers in Nigeria
We shall provide quality and robust service during our relationship with you. If for any reason you wish to make a complaint about any of our service, you can do so.
A resolution mechanism has been put in place through a process such that the customer service team will pick up your complaint and try to resolve it.
If you are not satisfied, the resolution team will intervene and investigate the matter further within 48hrs to provide a resolution. In the event that you are still not comfortable with our response, the resolution team manager will endeavor to resolve all issues for service providers in Nigeria within 3 days.
13. Governing Law for Service Providers in Nigeria
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
